Comments on the Reunion

Everyone seems to agree that the Reunion Night was a success. Even though I had no seat, I thoroughly enjoyed myself chatting with so many old friends and playing cameraman. I wasn’t able to take shots of every person but Saw Teen has promised a CD full of more images captured by her husband. If you have photos of the reunion that you’d like to share with others, I’ll be happy to upload these on our Fotopages.

Here are some comments received by Rashidah via e-mail after the reunion:

Congratulations! The Reunion Gathering was very well organized, it went on smoothly, the food was delicious and there were plenty of choices. The karaoke was very good and without doubt, everybody enjoyed themselves thoroughly. It was really a very special occasion in our lives. Hey, Lean See, you were an excellent emcee. Planning for a 50th Anniversary in 2015, any one? We should thank EVERYONE IN THE TEAM for organising the reunion dinner.
Thank you.
Best Wishes and Warmest Regards,
Leow Ghim Moi, Alor Star

I just want to convey my thanks to the organizing team for this wonderful opportunity to meet after all these years. I consider myself very blessed and fortunate that I was able to come. It is going to be difficult to have a gathering like we had very often. It was hard to catch up with everybody but I guess the next best thing is that we were able to meet and at least say 'hello'.
Thank you for a good job done.

Thank you to the group for putting so much effort in organising this great reunion. As somebody says, it was most stressful to the heart, in a wonderful way, when we meet up with so many old friends.
Thank you again

I am glad that this reunion is a success although it’s been 40 years since we parted. I am sure we all must make it a point to renew our friendship and to meet more often. I really didn't have much time at all to chit chat with everyone but I am happy to have talked to a few, whom I have missed and wondered where they were all these years. Thanks to all who have contributed to this Great Happening and hope to do it again sometime in the near future. I shall treasure this memory & the excitement of December 10th 2005 always.

Thanks for organising the reunion. It was a huge success & I enjoyed myself. The Organising Committee did a great job! Wish it had been longer but if we get the addresses we can then keep in contact. I am already in the US & enjoying my grandson but still a bit jet-lagged! Got in yesterday after 26 hours.
Happy New Year!

Thanks so much for keeping us informed on what happened at the Reunion.
I was trying to read the name tags on each lady to see who they are. Wow, some ladies look gorgeous in their fancy clothes. Keep up the good work. Glad to hear everyone had a great time !!
Aloha
